Pick a Few of Your Favorite Photos, Replace Your Panasonic KXFA52X or Your Dell C1760NW Toner Cartridge, Pull Up a Chair and Read On

During our last visit, we discussed ways to help make those more complicated printing projects a little more manageable. We talked about ways to print more successful labels and envelopes as well as business cards. We do hope this took some of the guesswork out of printing such materials. Printers and indeed printing has come a long way in recent years. Today’s printers do a fine job of printing labels, business cards, greeting cards and even photographs. There are those who may be a bit timid when it comes to printing photographs, it can be frightful. So pick a few of your favorite photos, replace your Panasonic KXFA52X or your Dell C1760NW toner cartridge, pull up a chair and read on.

Computers are obedient machines, they will simply print a photo at any size you ask it to. However, this does not mean the results will be to your satisfaction. You need enough pixels in your image to be sharp at the desired size. For example, if your photo measures 2000 by 3400 pixels, then you can print it as large as 10 by 17 and achieve acceptable results. How did we get to this conclusion? We simply divided the amount of pixels by 200.

And though you can get quite stunning results from your inkjet printer, to do so you must choose the right paper. Plain paper will absorb the ink and wash out the colors. For optimal results, you need to use photo paper recommended by your printer’s manufacturer.

We hope this has inspired you to pick up that camera and take more pictures of the family, even Auntie Edna with her misaligned wig.
